Kalinka’s students at the celebrations in the Beaufort Castle

The Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots, with the support of the Russian Center for Science and Culture and the municipal administration of Beaufort, held on June 17 some celebrations dedicated to Russia's Independence Day (June 12) and the Grand Duke's Official Birthday (June 23).

The Kalinka Russian School participated in the Summer Assortment Children's Concert Program in the Beaufort Castle. Kalinka's students performed some dances (Matryoshka Dolls, Shawls, teacher: Lyudmila Syrovatskaia), and songs (Sleepy Song, Bells, teacher: Elena Vitel), as well as What Attracts a Bird, Childhood (teachers: Ekaterina Kisula and Ekaterina Gruzova).

Veronika Lobanova, art teacher of the Kalinka Russian School, held a workshop for children at the Beaufort Castle, and also showed drawings and paintings of her adult group.
